Stayed at Seagate II last weekend, had an AWESOME time! Here is a full review...
The Resort: Much smaller than you might expect, but cozy, quaint, and friendly. It is older but well-kept. There are a total of 14 rooms on two floors, a pool, small bar and sitting area, and plenty of beach lounge chairs for everyone. The pool area was kept very clean and the pool was warm and clean as well. It had a "Tiki" style feel, and we did not hesitate to walk barefoot or to go in the pool. There is music playing over rock looking hidden speakers; not obnoxious, but loud enough to hear. There is a privacy fence that hides the entire pool area, but not the second floor of rooms. There is a play room available on the first floor. The resort is in a nice area of town, however most of the hotels surrounding the Seagate were closed for refurbishment. There is a vestibule style set of double doors to enter the resort, the outer has a code lock for security. It is located 2 blocks from the beach and is within easy walking distance to several upscale restaurants, shopping, and night clubs.
The Rules: Seagate only allows couples and single females. No sexual activity is allowed in the pool area, but is welcomed in the attached playroom and in your own room. All rooms are non smoking, a 100$ fee is imposed if the room smells like smoke after checkout. The pool itself is also non-smoking, but you can smoke in the pool area or outside the rooms. The second floor rooms are not covered by the privacy fence, so you need to remain covered up until you are down to the pool area. Also, we were told that blinds should stay closed for the send floor rooms, but since most of the hotels in the area are vacant it wasn’t strictly enforced. The pool and bar are open 24/7 for all guests, but management requests the noise level be kept a t a minimum.
Parking: There is no actual “Lot” per se, but surrounding the resort there are several spaces reserved by room number for guests. They are labeled and easy to find, and not what you would consider regular city street parking. We could see our vehicle from our room which was nice. Parking is free.
Rooms: There are a mix of smaller studio “standard” rooms, Mini-suites, and 1 bedroom apartments (Totaling14 in all). We stayed in a 1 bed apt. The hotel is older, no doubt about that, and could use some repairs, but very clean and well kept. We saw no insects or major dirty areas at all in the room. It has a small kitchen with a microwave, full size fridge, coffee maker, and plates/dishes/cookware for use. It has a living room with a pull out couch and TV, a bathroom and separate walk-in style closet, and the bedroom has a king size bed but no TV. The sheets were extremely clean and fresh, no stains anywhere on the linens or bed. There were plenty of clean towels in the bathroom closet, and 2 separate beach towels are provided for the pool area. The hotel provided complimentary coffee, soaps, and shampoo. They are all non-smoking, and smelled nice. The pillows were in abundance and seemed brand new. The air conditioner was a bit noisy, but kept the room ice cold. Not exactly the Hyatt, but nicer than most beach hotels.
The Play Room: Attached to the first floor of the pool area, one of the 1 bedroom apartment suites has been converted to a play room. It looks to have been completely re-renovated. It was immaculately clean. The living room had an oversized couch covered in fresh linen, with a large flat screen TV piping in Satellite TV, including PPV adult movies. The bedroom had a full king sized bed, the linens were also immaculate and were changed constantly. It also had a large flat screen TV with DVD player, free condoms, and nice lighting. The bathroom was open to everyone as well, and was a standard bathroom which had been remodeled to look almost brand new. Scented candles made the room smell nice, and mood lighting seemed to be professionally designed for this room. There are a few very tasteful erotic pictures on the walls. The entire room had a safe, sexy, clean, fun feel to it, not threatening or sleazy at all. Guests are welcome to use the room 24/7.
The Bar: Small, but functional. Also “Tiki” style, there are no bartenders, guests help themselves to drinks. Alcohol is not provided, but plenty of “Mixers” are. Sodas, sours, mixes, plastic cups, etc were all available for free to guests. The alcohol on the bar belongs to the guests, and is respected on the honor system. Three large coolers surround the bar, one with fresh ice and the other two for keeping guest drinks cold. There is a large covered canopy near the bar for guests to sit at a table, enjoy their drinks and socialize.
The People: The guests at this resort were very friendly, and unusually attractive. Most were not Ken/Barbie types, but nicer to the eyes than a lot of other places. It seems like most are regulars at the Seagate II as they all seemed to know eachother and get along very well. They may have been a little “Clique-Ish” if you will, but very friendly and receptive none-the-less. Many recognized us as the newbies, and came to talk and welcome us. The wife and I spent most of our time together outside of the circles, but that was mainly because we went more to enjoy ourselves and to get away than to socialize. I am certain that we will be welcomed warmly into the groups when we return in the future.
The Staff: As many may already know, or have read, one of the things that truly sets the Seagate II apart from other similar resorts was the Staff. Jana and Jett run the hotel, and I can honestly say I have never had such a pleasant experience dealing with management anywhere (Including high end hotels and resorts). When attempting to book the room, I called after normal business hours expecting to leave a voice mail. Instead, they worked with me after hours late at night to make sure I was able to reserve the room I wanted before they booked up for spring break. When we arrived, Jana met us at the main walkthrough gate and brought us on a tour of the entire hotel, explaining the rules, introducing us to everyone, and answering all of our questions. Throughout our stay, they made themselves available at all times, and constantly checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Jett gave us great recommendations for restaurants including directions, and even contacted us after checkout to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Jana works very hard to make sure everyone at the hotel is happy and has what they need, staying up late till all hours and up first thing in the morning before all of the guests. I honestly don't think she sleeps.
I would highly recommend Seagate II to anyone planning a stay in the Ft Lauderdale area or looking to have some safe, clean fun.

We don't live in the US but come to Fl. every few months. The Seagater was a recommendation from a friend of ours and what a treat it was.
This is a quaint 50's style retro clothing optional resort near Las Olas beach within walking distance to great bars and restaurants.
The rooms were clean and neat and well taken care of. Jana the owner was amazing with superb friendliness
Pool side was a fun place to work on a great tan with mixers and ice always in stock. The weekend bbq was a real treat. We met such fun and easy going people and enjoyed the playroom.
Value for money for an amazing swinger experience, you have to try the Seagater.

We are going back for our 3rd stay at the new Seagate. The hotel is really nice and clean and the pool area is perfect. The guests are really sexy and fun. Nice location near the beach and the weekend BBQ is great.

We just tried the Seagate II in Fort Lauderdale. We thought it was closed down but has reopened at a new location. The new location is 501 ORTON AVE. First, we loved the fact that it was " Couples Only " ! That was perfect for us. The pool area was very spacious and the complimentary barbecue was great! The new location is still within walking distance from all the shops, bars, restaurants and the central beach in Fort Lauderdale. The nude sunbathing was great and the whole resort area is clothing optional. But most of all, we met some day passers and had some very sensual encounters in the on-premise play room. And what is a nude weekend getaway without going to Haulover? Well, Haulover Nude Beach was a very short drive from the Seagate 2 at the Lorelei! We had an awesome time and are so glad they re-opened. We will be back for sure! Next time we go back, we're hitting Trap! Trap is very close. In fact it is right down the road on Commercial.

Title:Re Opening The Seagate 2 We just Checked it Out

We just drove down to Fort Lauderdale to Check out the new Seagate Motel/Resort opening up in Fort Lauderdale. It's the former Lorelei Resort In Fort Lauderdale. We strolled the premises and the workers were kind and polite. The rooms completed so far look clean and artsy. The pool was very nice. Nobody was there because it has not opened yet, but this place looks like it has some potential. We hope it is as fun as the last Seagate Resort. We will get back with a full crtique once it has opened and we spend the weekend. As for now. A big thumbs up and good luck. It's new website is www.seagaters.com

We are going to miss everybody! We regret the best clothing optional resort in the Miami/Dade area is going to be no more. We met great people, had super sex, and just loved the Seagate Resort. We are here to tell you that Seagate is the real deal,two thumbs up. Seagate has a friendly staff and everyone that comes is made to feel at home. The place is very clean and the rooms are awsome.(Ice cold A/C) Every Saturday & Sunday is a free poolside BBQ. We have meet alot of really great people at Seagate,maybe we will neet ypou there one day

LAST WEEKEND WAS TOTALLY AWESOME AT THE SEAGATE! WE MET SOME REALLY NICE COUPLES FROM OUT OF TOWN. THERE WERE NO SINGLE UNACCOMPANIED GUYS. THE BARBECUE WAS GOOD. THE PLAYROOMS HAD A TON OF REAL ACTION IN THEM. THE WEATHER WAS BEAUTIFUL AND SUNNY ALL WEEKEND LONG. WE TANNED OUR BUNS! HAHAHAHA! WE ARE GOING BACK FOR SURE BEFORE THE HOLIDAYS. WE ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND A WEEKEND VISIT THERE TO ANYONE IN THE LIFESTYLE.

We stayed at the Seagate Clothing Optional Resort in Fort Lauderdale Florida last weekend. www.seagateresort.com The rooms were very clean, the pool was clean, the air conditioning worked PROPERLY, parking was in abundance, the staff was quite helpful, the place was filled with couples, single females and a few select single males who accompanied a couple or single female. WE HAD AN AWESOME TIME!!! he barbecue was awesome and everybody partied until the morning hours. The Seagate is very lifestyle friendly, nudist friendly and everyone had fun. It is minutes from Trapeze and about one block from Fort Lauderdale Beach and the clubs. An absolutely fabulous set-up and perfect for nude sunbathing and swinging. It looks like the Seagate Clothing Optional Resort is going to be the next HOT SPOT in SOUTH FLORIDA!!!! Don't miss it, check it out for SUPER HOT SEX AND GREAT TIMES!!!!
