New Horizons was established over twenty years ago to serve as an "on premises" Adult Social Club for people with sexually open attitudes and relationships. New Horizons has been called the most beautiful club of its type in the United States and perhaps the world.
The purpose of the club is to provide a place that is more than a traditional swing club. It is an adult social club; a place where people are free to explore their sexuality in a fun, but safe social setting without pressure.
The atmosphere is very casual, friendly and relaxed. The many themed parties offer the opportunity to come dressed based on the evening's theme.
New Horizons is many different things to many different people, however, it is not for everyone.
Your partner and relationship must be the highest priority in your involvement at New Horizons. Constant, effective communication is essential to your success. We recommend that couples make joint decisions without pressure or persuasion. Any suggestions of coercion will not be tolerated.

FAQs
If the party is a themed party, do we have to wear costumes?
There is never a costume requirement. We offer themed parties for those members that enjoy wearing costumes or like to live out certain fantasies. For instance, we have a number of members who love short plaid skirts with white anklets which are popular on Back to School Night. You are always encouraged to wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
Do you have a dress code?
We do not have a formal dress code. Typical dress is sexy casual. We do ask that at least minimal attire be worn in the parking lot and lobby. Wear what makes you feel most comfortable. We do have a few more formal parties each year where most couples typically wear tuxedos and formal gowns. Party descriptions will identify these more formal parties.
Do we have to make reservations?
Reservations are not required for most parties, but we do strongly encourage that you make them. In order to prepare enough food for dinner, we need a good estimate of attendance. Note that it is to your benefit to make reservations for all large parties such as Halloween and New Year's as these parties normally sell out and if you don't have a reservation you will most likely be denied entrance. We have had to turn people away that haven't had reservations.
What are the demographics of your members and a typical party?
We have members of all ages and walks of life. Many of our members fall into the 30 - 50 age range, however we do have members both younger and older than this. We have over 4,000 members so every party will be different. We do have a requirement that all members and guests must be at least 21 years of age. Attendance at a typical weekend party can range from 80 - 150 couples, normally about 110 couples per party. We will see up to 215 couples at a large party such as Halloween.
What is the difference between a weekend and a Wednesday party?
Wednesday parties are held twice a month (usually on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday), they are pot luck, the attendance is typically lower (30 - 40 couples), equal male/female ratios are not maintained, there is no live entertainment, no alcohol of any type is allowed, no overnight stays are allowed and they are over at 12AM. Weekend parties are typically held every weekend (sometimes multiple evenings per weekend), we serve a buffet-style dinner, we strictly maintain an equal male/female ratio, we always have live entertainment (or occasionally a DJ), alcohol such as wine and beer are allowed (hard alcohol is never allowed), members and guests are welcome to stay overnight, and the party ends at 11AM the following day.
I am a member of New Horizons. If my partner will not be able to attend a party, may I attend as a single?
You are welcome to attend a Wednesday night party as a single. For all weekend parties, we maintain a strict male/female ratio. You must always call to make a reservation as a single and you may be placed on a waiting list if space is not available. You must call us to check on your waiting list status- we will not call you. You must have a confirmed reservation before arriving at the party. If you are still on the waiting list, you will not be allowed to entry the party.
We won't be able to arrive at the weekend party before 11PM. Can we still attend the party?
We close the gate and lock the doors at 11PM. If you know you will be arriving shortly after 11PM, contact us so that we can make arrangements for you to be admitted to the club after hours. If you do not notify us in advance, you will not be allowed into the party or onto the premises.
If we leave early or arrive late, do we still have to pay full price?
Yes. We do not give discounts for partial attendance at parties.
If we are staying multiple nights on a long weekend party, can we leave the premises and then be allowed back in?
If you have paid for multiple nights you may come and go as you please at any time during the day. We do keep the gate closed during the day, however you will be allowed back onto the premises. You will need to use the intercom at the gate to call us for entry. Many members enjoy sunbathing, swimming, hot-tubbing and picnicking during the day on a long weekend.
If we are only attending one night of a long weekend party, are we able to come early or stay late (after 11AM) to enjoy the grounds and amenities?
Yes. However we will charge you an additional fee to utilize the facilities during the day.
We would like to bring our RV to a party. Do you have facilities for RVs?
You may bring your RV to any party and park in the main parking lot if you do not require services. We do have a limited number of spaces which have electricity and water. They are by reservation only. We do charge an additional fee to utilize these services.
What accommodations do you have if we want to spend the night?
We have two sleeping rooms available for every party and a yurt available for the larger parties which are all dormitory style. The yurt has its own bathroom and shower. We provide the sleeping pads and you must provide the bedding and pillows. These sleeping spots are by reservation only. If you are interested in reserving a spot, just let us know when you make your reservations for the party. The fee ranges from $5/couple to $20/couple based on which room you prefer. To be courteous to others sharing the sleeping rooms, please refrain from participating in any sexual activity in the sleeping rooms.
What should we bring to a party?
We suggest that you bring an alcoholic beverage of your choice (no hard alcohol allowed) if you want something other than water, coffee, or soda. You should bring a towel for each of you. We do have towels available for rent for a small fee, but our supply is limited and we cannot guarantee that we will have one available for you. You may want to bring toiletry items as we have shower, vanity and hair dryer facilities available. You may want to bring a combination padlock to secure your personal items during the party. We have locks available for purchase at the desk if you forget yours. We do supply condoms in each play area, but you should bring your own if you have a special preference.
I have special dietary needs.
Can I get a different meal than what is being served?
We can accommodate certain dietary needs such as allergies and vegetarian diets. Please see Thom, our chef, in the kitchen before dinner is served. He will attempt to work with you on alternate food items.
If all the sleeping spots are taken, can we still spend the night?
Yes. After 2AM (3AM on large parties), all of the play beds are available for sleeping. If the beds are occupied by couples who are still playing, you must wait for them to finish before you may claim the bed for sleeping.
My partner will be celebrating a birthday. Can I bring in cake and decorations?
Yes. However, confetti, silly string or other small decorations for the table are not permitted.

My friends (who are married) introduced me into the "lifestyle" and I love it. I am a single, fairly attractive, 40 year old woman who is open to living life. The more I learn about swingers clubs the more I love it. The people I meet are very open, loving and all around beautiful individuals. I feel lucky to have enriched my life in this way. Swingers clubs are not for everyone, but for those of us who are into it....love to all.

Long time members of the club...we just wanted to let you all know of the little known and oft not published Wednesday Night Potluck and Massage Nights at this most fabulous resort/club.
We're personally hosting these club nights, providing great music for dancing, theme nights with everything from female oil wrestling (very popular for all involved and spectating), to Christmas Baby birthday party night (for all of us unfortunates you get ripped off near the holidays!)...you name it, we'll try it.
Atmosphere MUCH more relaxed, younger crowd, no pressure...and open until 1AM (or later) for more fun on hump day.

We recently traveled to Seattle and into British Colunbia from Houston for a pleasure trip. We visited New Horizons on a Saturday and were almost taken-back by having to attend an orientation. But, while new couples were being processed in, we were offered non-alcoholic beverages and hordervous trays of food were brought in. It was a nice touch. The orientation was very informative and the person giving it (name??) had many tactful & humorous comments that made us (and apparently everyone else) feel comfortable. Let's face it, journeying to a new club can be stressful. All the questions that my husband and I might have had were answered at the orientation. It was very well conducted. At the conclusion of the orientation everyone went to a certain individual who asked if they wanted to join. There was NO pressure whatsoever. The night we attended, ALL the couples joined! I wanted to join, and even though I'm usually shy, I didn't even ask my husband! I just supposed he did.
After that the dinner was served. It was prepared by a chef and there were multiple entrees, multiple desserts, and a great variety of side dishes, salads, assorted fruits, etc. The music was superb! We had a great time from beginning to end. We both work out and are fit. Yes there were people of all persuasions, but everyone we met was nice and we had a great time. You have to bring your alcohol, and it can be only beer and wine. We wish we could return, but the trip is long and we don't plan on visiting that region of the country.

It appears obvious that some individual has an agenda to besmirch the reputation of New Horizons for some unknown purpose, but let's set the record straight.
Yes, there are some large people at the parties, because the management does not choose to run the club as some sort of beauty contest and the members are self-selected and may become and remain members as long as they obey the rules and treat others with respect and courtesy. Are the large people a majority, or a problem of any kind? Not by any stretch of the imagination, but if you think you only belong with those that meet your high standards of physical perfection, you may be happier elsewhere. You won't be missed at NH. And, despite the suggestion to the contrary, there are very few couples who attend orientation that do not join the club, perhaps 1 out of 20.
For those of us with broader minds (and not necessarily broader waistbands), there is a reason it has been continually recognized by various swinger's organizations as the best club in the country, and perhaps the world. A typical Saturday party will have 100 - 150 couples, including some of the most spectacularly attractive people you will find, as well as the ordinary mortals. The dinners are prepared by an excellent chef, the bands are always at least good (some are excellent) and the management genuinely tries to maintain a great party atmosphere.
If there's a better club anywhere, I have yet to meet the person that's been there, and I have met people who have travelled from all over the country and Canada to spend a weeked at NH, many of whom make the pilgrimage regularly.
And, no, I don't work for the club. I have been a member for over 6 or its 26 years of operation, and have attended probably 200 parties there.
But, don't take my word for it. Check it out yourself, and discover the beautiful truth.

Interested in an early starting club with opulent setting? Eyes Wide Shut turn you on? This is the club for you. Every step every square foot of this resort is perfect for first timers and the experienced alike. The food and the play are phenominal. This is easily our favorite club in the world. We travel from Charleston SC just to attend.

First of all I would like to thank Doug and his staff for a wonderful and friendly support.
We were members for almost three years until I was relocated and had to move.
I'm in the military and while I was deployed when 911 happened, we really didn't know much of what was going on in the States due to all communications were cut off. We did get to see some CNN but not as much.
Weeks passed and it wasnt till then when we made calls home. I called home every chance I could. Two months before we deployed my wife and I met some couples at this club and later during hard times at home, and me not being there, these people were calling to the house to see how my family was doing or they would come over, they were very supportive. Finally after we got back to the States wife and I went out to New Horizons and the Staff knew who we were. That's what I call Family...

This is the best designed,built & operated swingers club in the USA- they are a league into their own.
No one gets even closer to them in all categories.
They have great facility -includint the ability to seat 200 couples for dinner.
The place is run by swingers for swingers.
They have been doing it for a long time- over 25 years.
The best deal- come to their 3-4-5 days parties in a row[long weekend & holidays] well worth the travel from out of state.
