We have been going to Velvet often for a year now and recomend it to everyone we meet. The energy in the club always seems to be building through out the night, especially when both dance floors are open. The people that work at Velvet always have an inviting attitude. Some have told us they feel intimidated by the fun Miami energy, but we always say let go, say hi to someone, and get on the dance floor and it will be your #1 club soon too!

We've been member of MV for over 4 years and since then it's our favorite club. The staff is very friendly and eager to please you, all areas are very clean and confortable, we have met a lot of people and have a tons of good moments.

We are from New York City and have been in the lifestyle for for quite a few years. We have both worked in a few of these clubs as bartenders and have a good grasp of how they are run and the couples who attend.
We attended a Saturday night party in June 2011 that was very impressive. The venue is very large and was packed with many interesting and hot couples. There is plenty of dancing, flirting, and playing going on. The management of the club is on the strict side which is in my experience very good. What we did not like was there were way too many male staff, we found this a little off. All in all we give it a thumbs up 9. Go and have a great time.

Went there recently after about a year. Some simple suggestions. Get some better music. The computer, tecno, repetitive, mindless bass has to go. There is allot of great music to choose from.

Get rid of the towels. Its just too wierd having a few people walk around in these, with a wide open dressing area, for all the clothed to see. A restricted towel area makes no sense.

Less rules...better music. Sorry, Sapphire Lounge had one, two, three up'd you...

Estuve en el bar, muy apesar de que mi esposa es muy recatada y fue por complacerme, las pasamos increible.Ella no queria quitarse la ropa, pero cuando ingreso se puso muy caliente y estaba muy mojada y queria iniciar rapido pero yo la atajaba para observar. Solo lo hicimos los 2 pero me gusaria interactuar con otras parejas viendo que ella lo disfruto muchisimo y yo no se diga. Este club es super. Quiero regresar.

We go to all the clubs and our #1 preference is MV! We are a 40's white couple and we don't speak spanish. If you talk to some of the couples, you will find they are bilingual!! There usually is a mix crowd when we have been there. We really enjoy the younger crowd that loves to dance and have always had a blast in the play rooms. VERY SEXY! We've been attending since they first opened and has stayed our favorite!

We have visited Miami Velvet numerous times in fact it was our first on premise club and I must say the club lay out is the best. The down side is that the crowd is very unfriendly and 98% Hispanic, which would be okay if the music and people were a little more diverse. The last visit was on Memorial Day weekend and it was the worst experience so far. The staff was not friendly this time, the bathrooms were not stocked with even as much as a roll of toilet paper, no soap, not even a mirror on the wall. I mean for this to be the #1 on premise club I would think that the owner Roger, could spend a little more to make the environment clean for the members.

Unless you take your own group of friends you can pretty much count on not having much interaction with others during the night or again unless you SPEAK SPANISH. The club also tends to attract many "Beautiful people" that only come in to dance in the first club and never even attempt to go beyond that point, which is what an on premise club is for.

If you are black or inter-racial or anything other than SPANISH or ELDERLY then you are not going to get any attention in the playrooms. They really should just change the club to a Hispanic only club, even the on line Miami Velvet Site is almost all Hispanic, unless you can speak and read spanish you can't even read a person's profile.

I've been going to Miami Velvet for about three years. I love the staff, the members and the atmosphere. M.V is like our second home. Me and my hubby are die hard members you can find us there with our friends at lease 2 to 3 times a week. What can i say when you find a place that much fun, with sexy people a great staff and good music you better not pass it by :) We've also met some of the friendliest people and made lifetime friends at M.V. It's definitely the #1 Swing Club!!!

been going on-and-off for years. it is the cleanest. it has the best/attentive staff. and, excellent location. however, i must say that i like the old set up before they remodeled. liked having the smaller dance area so that people would be more prone to interacting and the large play area so that you had space to play - really miss the second floor. and if you are looking for the younger crawd, this is the place - abuelita and abuelo go to trapeezeeeee.

We were members of the three major lifestyle clubs in South Florida, finally we decide to attend just to Miami Velvet, good scenario, nice employees, excellent quality of members attending, clean site, good security, etc. The club has room for the diversity of people living in South Florida, just Amazing!

My wife an I have been to many nights in Velvet and think this is the best swingers club around. The staff are very friendly and professional, the club is in excellent condition and always clean. When you have a club this good to go to, you don't need to criticize another to make your club sound good.

Literally, there are no other swingers club in Miami. The place has a life of it's own. By all means it is a latin place and has a latin flair. It is 100% dance your ass off. The people may not always be the classiest but they go there to party and have sex.

we read as much as we could about the so called "lifestye" clubs in the fort lauderdale/miami area before coming to south florida. we had never been in such a place and were very nervous about what to expect. all i can say is "WOW"!!! what an amazing experience.
we went on a saturday night. got there a bit later than planned (about 1am) and the place was quite busy. but not so busy that you did not feel comfortable. at first it looked like your average night club. a small dance floor with various people dancing, a couple of bars, and a few tables and chairs. upon further exploration we found a smaller area near the rear of the club with another small dance floor (no one dancing) different music playing, and another bar. there were also these curious looking open air rooms with curtains. no one in them though. just when we started to think we had been very misled about this whole thing.then we notice two women in the corner engaged in a very provocative act. we see another two couples entertaining themselves in much the same way. maybe we were not misled at all??? sure enough, within that first hour we found all the private and semi-private rooms they had to offer. we saw things there that we are not even supposed to talk about. and out of respect for the club i won`t go into too much detail. let`s just say that everthing you read about this place is true. it really is!!!
the only part we found missing, which turned out to be a good thing for us anyway, was that we really were not bothered by anyone at all. we were not even propositioned in anyway. sure we got looks and glances but nothing more than in any other club. i suppose if we had pursued the situation we may have made a special friend or two but it did not happen. and that was fine by us. we had enough to worry about.
that night truly was one of the best nights of our lives. both of us felt very comfortable and never did we think we had made a mistake in coming. on the contrary, all we can do now is wait until we have the opportunity to do it again!!!
the best advise i would give someone who is a first timer.....dress up however you are most comfortable, bring your favorite choice of drink, leave your everyday self at home, and go into the club with the idea that anything can happen but it doesn`t have to if you don`t want it to. and remeber...."when in Rome...."

We have attended Miami Velvet for years now. We feel it is the best lifestyle club. It has two huge dance areas, with multiple poles, a VIP section, even a cage for the girls to get naughty, usually, 7 bartenders that are always attentative and friendly. The decor is stylish and modern, as you would see in a high-end South Beach club. There is even a living room area with a gorgeous saltwater fish tank, and videos in case you want to socialize confortably and without having to scream over the music. 12 rooms for sex/play and all over the club. Attention to detail is evident. 4 sets of bathrooms, and the locker area is roomy and very clean and well-stocked with all amenities. The spirit of the people is friendly and socially festive. People mostly go there to dance, enjoy good company, party, and indulge in erotic oppurtunities, without the usually associated aggressive behaviour. We highly recommend, if in South Florida, not to miss visiting Miami Velvet! It just might be the reason you end up moving here.

I recently attended Miami Velvet on a Sunday night with a male client from out of town. I thoughly enjoyed myself, especially in the hot tub. People and staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable. Security is present which should make us single woman visiting for the first time more relaxed. Nice mixture of men and women. BYOB so u know what you're drinking. Costs way less than clubs on So Beach and at least you know you're probably going to get something.

Miami Velvet somehow manages to pull off the class and style that youd expect for 3 times the price on South Beach with the added perks of extreme erotica. Its so nice to have the rooooooom to stretch out in. The place is huge. We have watched the club grow and mature over the last few years and can honestly say it is our absolute favorite night spot. I like that the people are friendly, attractive, approachable, and have interesting things to say (as well as a few various ander, fabulous ways of saying them, lol). The club is extremely clean and the food is good. Ive been to the other clubs in the area and they are mostly nice, but just cant compare.

Two years ago Miami Velvet won SDC's Club of the Year. Everything has only "gotten better" additional space, new lockers, sound system. Simply put they remain the Champions in our eyes.

This is a must go to club... better than any of the S. Beach Tourist traps. This is a great club no matter where you are in the Lifestyle; the crowd is friendly, the staff is only there to serve you with a smile, and the new decor will WOW YA..
