Title: Estamos de acuerdo: LA RRPP, IMPRESENTABLE

Nos alegra ver que no hemos sido los únicos que opinamos en este sentido. Conocemos locales de toda España, y algunos de fuera, y eso nos da una perspectiva de lo que es un buen local.
En el caso de Bilitis tenemos que decir que podría ser un buen local porque las instalaciones merecen buena nota pero desgraciadamente la RRPP merece un cero. Puede ser que el hecho de que nos hayamos relacionado poco (simplemente porque no hemos encontrado parejas que nos atraigan y hemos preferido estar a lo nuestro y no dar mucho pié a nadie para no tener que rechazarles después) no le siente bien a esta buena mujer. Puede que esté frustrada porque no consigue que todo el mundo se relacione con todo el mundo (como que aquí valiera todo y no existieran los gustos) o puede que el fallar en su labor de “Celestina” para con sus parejas “amigas” (esas que van un día sí y otro también a dejarse las perras y regalarle los oídos diciendo lo majísima y simpatiquísima que es) deprima a esta señora. O quizá simplemente es el hecho de que se siente amenazada por cualquier mujer que pueda hacerle sombra (cosa que no es difícil) y le hace recordar que alguna vez vivió tiempos mejores.
Nosotros hemos ido tres veces. No es mucho pero esta RRPP debería saber ya a estas alturas que si sólo se ocupa de cuidar a las parejas habituales y tratar de esa manera antipática y altiva a quien va sólo de higos a brevas (más cuando, como es nuestro caso, nosotros siempre hemos sido discretos y jamás hemos creado ningún tipo de problema en ningún sitio) el local estará condenado a caer en la monotonía porque lo que la gran mayoría de parejas buscan cuando van a algún local liberal, y a la postre es lo que crea mejor ambiente, es encontrar parejas a las que no han visto antes.
No creo que volvamos a ir (nunca se puede decir “de este agua no beberé”) porque preferimos gastarnos el dinero en cualquier otro local donde, aunque no encontremos ninguna pareja con la que relacionarnos, al menos tomaremos la copa a gusto.
Y si podemos elegir… nos quedamos con Fusion, Lover’s, Encuentros y Chatelet, y por ese orden.

Hemos ido a bastantes locales swingers en España y Bilitis es de lo mejor. Buena distribución, buena música, buen ambiente (sobre todos los Sábados)trato impecable por parte de Laura la RRPP y por el resto del personal, muy limpio y además todas las copas gratis. No nos apetece conocer ningún otro local en Alicante....por algo será.

Title: First time visit.

We read the comments on here about Bilitis before we decided to go and see for ourselves.
We visited on the 30th Jan for the "Obscuridad" (darkness)night,
We were greeted at the door by a red haired French lady, (Laura I think)she explained the bag rule to us but allowed us to take small a carrier bag into the club after checking that it only contained Sandras changes of underwear, she likes to wear different outfits during the night but more about that later, she also gave us a tour of the club and explained the layout and the rules of the nude area, so far so good.
The layout and facilities of the club are good (but not great)and the free bar makes it a good value night for 60€ per couple.
Our first mistake was to get there too early at 11.30 but after a while the place started to fill up with mostly couples and and small number of singles, but as mentioned on another review there is very little action before 2am with people just standing around the bar chatting, but between 2 and 4 am the nude area was quite full with lots going on.
As I said earlier Sandra likes to dress up and takes quite a few changes of underwear when we go to a club, but sadly it's not the norm here, most were just wearing towels and some wearing outdoor clothing even in the nude area, we were surprised to say the least to see that some of the lockers were in this area which only encouraged this, if these lockers were removed and the rules (as explained to us on arrival) of the nude area enforced I think the club would be much better for it.
I would also suggest that the owner should think of something to encourage customers to dress sexily rather than just towels and slippers.
I have to disagree with the other comments about the staff, ok the barman didn't go to charm school but he did his job and wasn't rude to us or anyone else that we saw (although I think he should update the music a bit, ABBA isn't what I expect in a swinger club LOL) and Laura? on the door was very helpful.
Overall not a bad night and a reasonable club that with a bit of fine tuning could be so much better.
Would we go again? yes but not rushing.

La primera, y última vez que fuimos, el trato déspota y grosero, no quiso enseñarnos el local ni explicarnos nada sobre su funcionamiento. Evidentemente éramos novatos y la primera vez que visitábamos un local así. Si fuimos a otros fue por los ánimos que nos dieron, otras parejas, indicándonos que no todos los locales eran iguales. Ahora no somos novatos y, desde luego, no volvemos a Bilitis. Por cierto, con el tiempo nos enteramos que no hemos sido los únicos en recibir tal trato.

Excelente ambiente. En especial los dias que se organizan fiestas. En verano "Internacional".
Su RRPP (Laura) es de 10, incansable, amena, atenta... ¡no se le escapa detalle!
Ningún local es comparable a Bilitis en 300 km a la redonda.
Muy recomendable.

Title: good venue best on cool nights!

We have been three times (the most recent post refurb and ownership change) and we like this club but actually found that a busy saturday can mean that space or semi private rooms can be short. The nude (towels only area), would be best turned over for all to use and the main dark room needs aircon. We used it pre refurb works, but the new wall makes it too hot and despite being in there with some attractive couples we had to move to a different area. There are some good looking younger people in this club as well as older couples, but I would advise all ages to stick to sexy dress as the towels and slippers brigade do not do much for the general otherwise sexy and attractive feel. These are sex parties and we opt for heals and fishnets over towels and slippers anyday! (at least for the women). Staff were OK and let's face it all those late nights are bound to take their toll. (The staff on a roller coaster never smile, but the ride is great).I understand the bag and phones rules are to deter cameras which is best for all concerened. Free bar makes it good value and the only thing extra is Moet champagne, though the free Spanish CAVA is good enough.

We found the action was late starting last time and would suggest that more people get down to business before 1am remember these are SEX PARTIES! dress sexy and if in doubt, get it out to kick things off.

Look for and or stay at the Holiday Inn which is very nearby.

Esta club es muy bueno, this club is very good. la employers de barre y recepcione muy agreable. The bar staff and cloakroom "laura" are very friendly. We are 30's and sometimes the crowd can be a little old for us. We have only ever been on a Saturday. If you look at the club website and go on one of their special " fiesta " nights you will have a good time, club is full, if you like a younger mix. However normal nights appear to be average late 40's plus, but couples as young as 20's do come and play, but have seen the club not too busy on normal nights, hit and miss like all clubs. Always clean, good music, nice size and facillities, good bar. Muy bueno facilitas,musica, barre y muy limpio. Best club Costa Blanca South, look for our Valencia review comimng son, Saline Y Tony 300's

we are a couple from tenerife(canary),we did visit this club many times during deciembre 2008.the first time when we visited the club,on the door,a blond elegante girl asked us very freindly to keep our things in their safe room for our safety.i didnt agree with the people who where speaking so bad about this club,we personaly we met many english people inside and those people we saw them many times in the club.the stuff and the owner are very friendly and with everybody and,honestly that what we saw,we spoke with a lot of people on the bar and all the nationality,german,holand,uk and others,nobody made any bad comment about this club but contary to.and about the person who spoke about the bartender,i say that the bartender is very friendly with everybody,smiling and joking all time,the relation public is sooo nice and she makes you feeling very welcome,even the owner moving in the club and asking everybody if they are happy.really i wondered when i read the bad commentary about bitilis cos it is not true absolutly.M AND A

They are just dying to laugh all these anonymous messages, which are written without the slightest doubt, by the same person and undoubtedly the competition;) And with a little lucidity, Just look at the dates, hours and repetitive is hard on employees (who are in real life popular with customers) After more than 20 years of experience and being classified as one of the best local Spain, it seems to me that it would be stupid This has demean this little unhealthy games and despite your intentions lies and destruction, blessed for us, most people already know Bilitis and its employees, then I can assure you they are already many a laugh at your messages.
We can deliver more new messages because we prefer that people come by themselves discover that this painful issue of Entertainment) In case of doubt, enter our "foro" www.bilitis-pub.com. And contact with some client (Those are the real and not anonymous;)) and ask them directly what they think;)

Just one last advice ... Instead of wasting your energy unnecessarily want to destroy an image emblematic constructed and rightly recognized for his work and its quality, rather to advance yourself because you have more than needed!

Title: NOT VERY NICE WELCOME

HELLO WE AHVE BEEN ON THE SWINGING SCENE FOR ABOUT 9 YEARS NOW & HAVE BEEN TO ALOT OF CLUBS IN THE UK & HOLLAND A FEW HERE IN SPAIN SO WE LIKE TO THINK WE KNOW A GOOD FRIENDLY CLUB WHEN WEVE BEEN TO ONE.
WE WENT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT TO THIS CLUB & FELT VERY INTIMIDATED, IT WAS NOT A VERY NICE NIGHT OUT AT ALL, THE STAFF WERE VERY RUDE WHEN ASKED ANYTHING, THEY JUST DIDN'T SEEM INTRESTED IN THE JOB THEY WERE DOING.
IF WE HAD TO RATE THIS CLUB IT WOULD BE A 0 SORRY BUT THIS IS JUST HOW WE FEEL.

Title: Visiting people

We have to support the people who wrote negative comments as we have also experienced problems here.
The reaction from the person who is charge of pr at this club is most obviously on the defensive.
It is true that we ( Couple ) arrived and were told to give in handbags with no explanation .

We were then refused access ( Our spanish is fluent ---so no language problem )
The manner of the person at the cloakroom was aggressive and confrontational ,as a result of which we asked to leave before even entering .
We were then told to wait and were left for 15 mins in the entrance .
They then wanted us to pay to leave ??? in exchange for the return of handbag.

We refused this and asked to speak to the manager who agreed to let us out.
We would like to say that we are not new to the swinging scene and point out that we are very selective .

Unfortunately, I don't agree with some of the negative comments here.
I'm not a "compulsive user" of swingclubs... mainly I'm a "selective" one. My very first time in Bilitis was time ago, and I have to say that Bilitis has improved a lot since that date.
Its P.R. is a very professional girl, with many years of experiencie on this bussines.
Of course no one can say that we are going to spend the best night ever, but I've been always felt comfortable and well treated there.
Probably I'm one of the "privileged single male" that can assist on Sat night, but even if I have no "action", is worth the paying.
Ah, and by the way... I've got some nice experiences with english people. Don't see the point on that "anglophobia" commented below.

Title: Very bad Experience at this club

WE arrived on a saturday and were told immediately to hand in partners handbag containing contraceptives money/documents etc.-----No explanation given despite us asking in english and then spanish. Other customers were given access to their bags when they returned to cloakroom ---We were told to get out.

Needless to say we decided not to enter the club and asked for our property to be returned ----We were told to pay 60 euros first ----After refusing as we had only been in for 5 mins in the cloakroom -----We told the owner they would be reported for this conduct ----Then we had our possesions returned .

We are fairly regular at Bilitis. It is by far the best club on the whole of the Costa Blanca on Saturday nights. The entrance fee includes unlimited drinks.

We go on saturdays only, it is couples only

The club is nice and entrance includes two drinks each, which are hugh neasures anyway.

This is Spain so do not turn up before midnight, everything happens late here.

We are a slim 30's couple and the age group is some 20's lots of 30's and 40's and a few olders.

Like anywhere get as involved or voyeuristic as you like, lots of play rooms, a spa, dance floor, bar area, highly reccomended.

Stay in the Alicante or benidorm its 15 mins, the club is in Campello, best we found in Spain
