CLOUD NINE'S OBJECTIVE:
To provide couples an opportunity to meet other couples in a first-class safe, secure and fun-filled atmosphere.
We are couples ONLY
We are a private, members-only social dance club for open minded couples. An organization for those in the Lifestyle and those entertaining the thought. The CLOUD NINE philosophy is one of mixing & mingling in a socially acceptable atmosphere. CLOUD NINE is NOT a party house! Dance socials are held in upscale hotels, it is therefore necessary that all members act appropriately.
CLOUD NINE was founded May 1992, in the Stockton, Sacramento, California areas with the concept of providing a first class, friendly, relaxed and safe location where couples could meet one another, socialize and pursue their individual interests. The whole concept is to meet, other couples and have fun. If and/or when mutual interests are indicated, couples make their own arrangements to meet after the dance or at some other time. You may wish to exchange telephone numbers for later contact. There is never any pressure at CLOUD NINE socials.
ORIENTATION:
We realize that newcomers to the Lifestyle may have many questions and all too often do not know how, or whom, to ask to get the answers. Therefore, CLOUD NINE offers an orientation for new couples before each dance (except Halloween & New Years Eve) and provides an informational pamphlet to address many of these questions. You should also feel free to talk openly about your concerns, questions, etc., to any Host or Hostess.
MEMBERSHIP:
You must be 21 years of age or over to join and/or attend our activities. All membership information is held in strict confidence. Names and addresses are used only for the purpose of mailing newsletters to members regarding previous and upcoming events. You can also request that newsletters not be mailed to you. CLOUD NINE respects confidentiality. Phone numbers and addresses are not given to anyone.
Membership applications are only available at the door. Membership entitles you to attend any of the CLOUD NINE dance locations, other CLOUD NINE sponsored events and receive the newsletters.
On occasion, other social events will be scheduled by CLOUD NINE or members of CLOUD NINE. We schedule barbecues, camping trips, dinners and other events.

Dance socials are held once or twice a month. Check our calendar of events. Each dance has a theme which provides for a variety of decor and atmosphere. Dressing to the theme is fun and a great ice-breaker. However, you are not required to dress to the theme.
